Well I'm taking a break from my busy day just sitting here looking at the pictures and reading the posts on all the beautiful guitars built by my talented fellow OLF'ers. John How's and John Kinnairds sapele guitars are simply awesome. I get goose bumps knowing that I played a small part by supplying the wood. Every guitar I have looked at Jimmy Caldwell's Coco SJ, Paul's awesome 911 & ziricote guitar, Jim W's gorgeous flamed mahogany, Lance's awesome EIR OM, Tim McKnight's awesome waterfall bubinga and ziricote, all very beautiful instruments by very talented luthiers. I just wanted to take a moment to thank each and everyone of my OLF buddy's. Without the OLF the "Zoot Man" wouldn' exist.Bobc38547.6908101852

We appreciate you Bob! May you live long and prosper all your days, fulfill all the potential God has put inside you, and walk in wisdom, grace, humility, and dignity. And may you always bring a smile to the faces of those who you serve and love! AMEN!

Hey buddy, thanks for supplying all that great wood. Now that you got a little of that cleared from your shop mayhaps you'll get a chance to build one too huh. I had just started a Curly Euc set a couple weeks ago (like I need to start another one) when my drum sander broke, I think it was trying to tell me something. Anyway I hope to get to that later. We appreciate all you wood guys, especially the ones here at OLF, who have all given us some of the best wood & service around and at fair prices to boot. Take a break Bob and build a guitar.

Hi Bob

I have never had the pleasure of meeting you, but from your posts you are a really nice guy. I remember your words of wisdom on Father Day and they have stayed with me.

Russell

Without your keen eye none of us would not have the zoot wood, I still have a killer set of imbua I got from you sitting in the stickers ready for a new guitar, I'm slowly collecting wood for a spruce/imbua/snakewood combo ;)

Are you going to make it to HB this year?

I still need some flyers for your wood to put on my table

Cheers

Bob,

Like Russell we have never met but I have done business with you and I know your a great guy keep up the good work. Also I want to add that this is the greatest group of guys on the whole internet. Where else can you find a group that is so willing to help out each other and not worry about their own self-interests. I hope that someday I can be of as much help to you, as you have all been to me.

P.S. Sorry for getting all mushy on you guys

Bob-- we're all the better for having you around here. And not just for your wood, by far! It is such a pleasure doing business w/ an honest, fair man of good will. And the zoot is pretty nice too!

Thanks amigo,

Steve

Thanks guys for all the kind words. I was very happy to meet a bunch of you at ASIA. John How I did clear out a bunch of wood but dang I can't resist buying more. All these great guitars really have me wanting to build again. Maybe I'll just have to set a day or two a week aside to build.
